A Few Words About Us
We Reunited and help individuals trace their ancestral home
We specialize in a vital mission—reuniting lost migrants and children with their parents, a service that goes beyond restoration to include tracing ancestry. Through meticulous efforts, our dedicated team unravels family connections, contributing to individuals' well-being and fostering a profound understanding of their heritage.
The Kaneng Rwang-Pam Foundation for Education & Migration Awareness (KRP FEMA) stands as a beacon of change, a non-governmental organization entrenched in the noble pursuit of combatting human trafficking while championing educational excellence. With the official registration under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (RC 126360), and its operational base situated in Jos, Plateau State, KRP FEMA extends its impactful programs across diverse states, including Lagos, Osun, Plateau, Kaduna, Nasarawa, and the Federal Capital Territory.
Founded by the visionary Kaneng Rwang-Pam, a seasoned media and market development consultant, and a fervent human rights activist, KRP FEMA draws its roots from a decade-long commitment to anti-human trafficking efforts, both in Nigeria and Europe. The foundation’s mission aligns seamlessly with Sustainable Development Goals 04 (Quality Education), 05 (Gender Equity), and 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions), reflecting a holistic approach to social development.
KRP FEMA operates through two distinct but interconnected arms, each contributing uniquely to its overarching mission.
1. Education Advocacy: KRP FEMA actively promotes education in Nigeria through its Education Advocacy arm, aptly named “Promoting Education in Nigeria (PEN).” This arm focuses on co-curricular training programs tailored for teachers, schools, and pre-tertiary pupils. By organizing competitions and rating schools, PEN aims to create interactive and participatory communities of education stakeholders. The emphasis on quality education resonates with the foundation’s commitment to fostering sustainable development through knowledge empowerment.
2. Migration Awareness, Anti-Human Trafficking & IDP Interventions (The BIHA Project): The second arm of KRP FEMA, “Migration Awareness, Anti-Human Trafficking (The BIHA Project) & IDP Interventions,” addresses the pressing issue of human trafficking vulnerability. Through situational analysis and capacity-building tools deployed in schools and among young people, the foundation works rigorously to reduce susceptibility to human trafficking and its associated vices. Additionally, KRP FEMA collaborates with community groups to promote gender equity and economic empowerment through social accountability platforms, creating a comprehensive strategy for sustainable change.
KRP FEMA, through its tireless efforts and strategic initiatives, stands as a testament to the transformative power of grassroots advocacy, education, and community engagement in combating human trafficking and fostering a brighter future for vulnerable populations.
